On December 11, 2019 CISNA invited Necva Ozgur as the guest speaker to discuss Board/Principal responsibilities and relationships. Sr. Necva Ozgur is the founding School Head of New Horizon School of Pasadena. After serving NHSP for 12 years, she established a resource center for Islamic schools called MERIT, Muslim Educators, Resource, Information and Training Center. Sr. Necva served on the CISNA Board from 2009-2017. She currently provides Islamic schools with board training, principal coaching, assistance with accreditation, school establishment, development, evaluation and consulting.
