A highly effective board grows together as a team when they unite behind a mission and vision.  An essential part of that growth is the opportunity to step back from the regular business of board meetings to allow for reflection, evaluation, and critical discussions.

At CISNA’s Board Development Retreat, Islamic school board members will engage in high quality interactive professional development, network with board members from other Islamic schools, and receive guidance from governance experts on Roles and Responsibilities of Board Members and School Leadership, How to Build and Sustain an Effective Board, Hiring and Evaluating the Principal, Strategic Planning, and Fundraising and Endowments.

Each session will provide practical training by experts to increase board effectiveness and strengthen the governance of your Islamic school. Participants will leave with practical resources, templates, and the opportunity to participate in ongoing virtual training and networking.
